Bemersyde Project Open House: Overwhelming Community Support

Vancouver, British Columbia Canada (January 22nd, 2009)

Since 2008, GreenWing Energy has been working to identify possible new projects in Saskatchewan. After several meetings with various Municipalities and their landowners, the company identified the Municipality of Chester and Golden West as the best option for our latest project.
On January 21st, Greenwing Energy held an Open House in Glenavon, Saskatchewan to evaluate the community’s response to wind farm development in the area. The open house was met with overwhelming support from the community, as 100 percent of people who filled out our survey indicated they were in favor of wind energy development in their region.
