Overview

GreenWing Energy Management Ltd. (GreenWing) is a private company formed in 2005 to commercialize clean energy projects in North America.

The company’s history started in 2003 with GreenWing Energy Inc., a company engaged in developing a portfolio of wind energy projects. GreenWing Energy Inc., jointly with another company, acquired, financed and constructed the 99.9MW St. Leon Wind Energy Project which entered commercial operations in the summer of 2006.

GreenWing took over GreenWing Energy Inc.’s activities in 2006, incorporating a broader management group as shareholders with a continued focus on clean energy. The company entered into a partnership with AltaGas Income Trust in 2006 to accelerate its development program. GreenWing now manages the partnership that has grown to over 2,000 megawatts of clean energy projects in various phases of development. GreenWing also has a strategic relationship with General Electric, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electricity generating wind and combustion turbines.

The company will continue to commercialize energy projects to meet the need for clean, reliable energy in North America through development and acquisition.
