Vice President Commercial Development
Curt Hildebrand is responsible for acquiring and developing projects in the Western U.S.

Curt has over 23 years experience in the energy industry and has served in a wide array of productive management roles in project development, power sales & marketing, project finance, government & regulatory affairs and business development. Prior to joining GreenWing, Curt served as Sr. Vice President – Marketing & Sales with Calpine Corporation and managed power purchase and other off-take agreements from an $8 billion generation portfolio across the WECC.

Curt has an extensive background in project development and has been responsible for the successful permitting and development of over 4,500 MW of profitable new generation projects in California and the Western U.S. Prior to his 11 years with Calpine, Curt also held various technical, finance, development and management roles with Magma Power Company (1993-1995) and Unocal Corporation (1985-1993). His accomplishments are highlighted by his involvement in the construction of over $5 billion in new energy projects in the U.S. and internationally.

Curt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1985 and is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
