Project Development Professionals

The Position

The successful candidates will lead projects through the development and approvals/permitting stages for wind and solar projects.

Responsibilities

Support the origination of wind and solar projects.
Administer projects, including commercial agreements, schedules, landowner relations, engineering, and permitting.
Support commercial discussions with utilities and 3rd parties.

Experience

Post-secondary education. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
3 to 5 years experience in a project management capacity, ideally with a background in wind and solar energy.
Ability to plan, schedule, track, monitor and report project progress.
Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Someone who works well both independently and in a team.
The candidate must be able to develop rapport and engage in commercial relations with a wide range of customers.
Willing to travel.
Familiarity with electrical transmission is considered an asset.
